SOC Analyst II

Piper Companies is hiring SOC Analyst II in the Fulton, Maryland area. The SOC Analyst II will join a global technology leader dedicated to connecting and protecting organizations through innovative, AI‑powered solutions that drive secure and resilient digital experiences. This position is a long-term open-ended contract opportunity, and the SOC Analyst II will need to sit on site in the Fulton, Maryland area 2 days a week. Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II Use Splunk to analyze, review, and respond to security alerts. Conduct Tier 2 incident investigations and escalate issues as needed. Leverage security tools including Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config. Monitor and secure AWS cloud environments.
