George Family Dental Care is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established Family Practice in Plantation. Your private, digital operatory is furnished with up-to-date equipment to enable you to provide the highest standard of hygiene therapy. COVID-19 considerations: All needed extra PPE provided. Our office is equipped with medical grade Air Purifiers, and Extra-Oral Suction units.

Position Details:

• Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist in Plantation, FL
• 9:00am - 6:00pm (2 days per week, Wednesday& Friday)
• Hourly Rate based on experience (TBN)

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Check both medical and oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
• Review each patients chart before starting treatment
• Update doctor on each patient before he starts his exam

Skills

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
• Take digital dental X-rays
• Deliver Arestin
• Administer local anesthesia
• Dental Assisting experience is a plus
• Attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality

Requirements

• Valid RDH License
• Local anesthesia license
• CPR card
• Valid picture ID
