We’re seeking a Playtest Operations II specialist to support our client’s gaming research team. Our client, a leading game development company, is committed to player-centered research. This temporary role is based in Los Angeles, requiring hybrid—on-site Mon–Thu—work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead participant recruitment and optimize research workflows. Playtest Operations II - Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for playtests and qualitative research studies, including participant intake, scheduling, and follow-up. Communicate clearly and consistently with players to ensure engagement and accurate information sharing. Assist in developing screening processes and sampling strategies to meet study requirements. Use judgment to enhance recruitment quality and reduce bias, focusing on participant vetting. Track recruitment metrics, identify issues, and implement process improvements for efficiency. Playtest Operations II - Qualifications Over 3 years of experience in research or participant recruiting roles, with proven independent ownership of logistics. Knowledge of qualitative recruiting practices, including screening, quota management, and data integrity. Comfortable managing communications, scheduling, and incentives with high attention to detail. Experience working with third‑party vendors for participant rescreening and recruitment.
