Residential Construction Project Manager Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction and renovation projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, contractors, vendors, and consultants while ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading residential construction projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential construction projects through all phases of development and construction.
• Coordinate and oversee architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress.
• Review bids, contracts, purchase orders, and project-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities.
• Resolve project issues and maintain communication among project stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting throughout the construction process.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of residential construction project management experience.
• Strong background in project planning, procurement, bidding, contract administration, and construction oversight.
• Florida General Contractor (GC) License required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Additional Information

• Frequent travel to project sites throughout South Florida may be required.
• Company vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement provided for business travel.
• Must be willing to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record review, and professional reference verification.
