Job Title: Solar Installer Job Description We are seeking skilled solar installers for a project located in Moab, UT. This project involves the installation of rooftop and carport solar structures. The Solar Installer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic systems, working outdoors, and ensuring all installations meet safety, quality, and performance standards. Responsibilities Install racking, modules, wiring, and balance-of-system components for ground-mount solar arrays. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as post drivers, trenchers, and skid steers. Follow project plans, layout drawings, and electrical diagrams. Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety requirements and company quality standards. Assist with site preparation, trenching, conduit installation, and equipment staging. Troubleshoot basic installation issues and support commissioning activities. Work collaboratively with crew leads and team members to meet project timelines. Essential Skills Experience in solar installation preferably on commercial projects Comfortable working on roofs and climbing ladders. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Reliable transportation. Basic hand tools. Impact driver preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous commercial solar experience. Roof work experience. Metal framing or carpentry experience. Work Environment The role entails working in an outdoor environment where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Moab, UT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
