Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: W-2, Full-Time

License/Certs: Medical license required; Board Certified or Board Eligible

Experience: Pediatric, adolescent, and adult psychiatric inpatient care; 3+ years preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $1.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide and supervise medical and physical care for inpatient psychiatric patients
• Utilize psychotherapeutic methods and medication management tailored to individual needs
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Manage a diverse patient population ranging from pre-adolescents to geriatric patients
• Participate in team meetings to coordinate patient care and ensure treatment effectiveness
• Document and monitor patient progress within the electronic medical record system
• Support patient safety and advocate for quality patient outcomes

What You Need

• Valid medical license (state of Georgia or eligible for licensure)
• Board certified or eligible psychiatrist within 24 months of certification
• Experience with wide age ranges (pre-adolescent to Geriatric)
• Competence in managing mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric diagnoses
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
