Medical Laboratory Technician or Special Procedures Technologist

Role Overview: A skilled Cath Lab Technician or Special Procedures Tech collaborates with physicians to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians during various cardiac procedures. Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment accurately. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Document procedure details and patient data precisely. Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Health Sciences, or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology; RCIS credentialed candidates since 2013 or earlier are exempt. Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support. Hold one of the following certifications: RCIS by Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or ARRT-R/MRT or ARRT-CV by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
