ICU RN Travel Contract – Night Shift

Shift:
• Night 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hrs/week
• Every other weekend
• No call required

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years ICU/Critical Care experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Meditech experience preferred

Must Have Experience:
• Ventilator management
• Critical care drips and titrations
• ECG rhythm interpretation
• IV starts and blood draws
• NG tube placement
• ABG and lab interpretation
• Arterial lines, chest tubes, central lines
• Conscious sedation assistance
• Strong communication with patients, families, and providers

Preferred Experience:
• CRRT
• IABP
• CVICU, SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU
• Teaching hospital experience

Patient Population:
• Adult and Geriatric patients
• Respiratory Failure
• STEMI/NSTEMI
• Cardiogenic Shock
• Septic Shock
• GI Bleeds
• CABG Recovery
• Vascular Procedures
• Stroke Patients

Float Requirements:
• CCU (home unit)
• CVICU Overflow
• Critical Care Step-Down
• Med-Surg as needed

Unit Details:
• CCU: 22 beds
• CVICU: 14 beds
• CCSD: 31 beds
• Ratios:

• ICU: 1:2–1:3
• Step-Down: 1:4–1:5
• Med-Surg: 1:6

EMR:
• Meditech

Dress Code:
• Royal Blue Scrubs Required
