Lecturer (Part-time), in Economics, Finance, and Personal Financial Planning

A graduate degree in business ( MBA ), economics, finance, financial planning/wealth management, or a closely related field, from an accredited university. An undergraduate degree with a nationally recognized certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst ( CFA ), Certified Financial Planner ( CFP ),j or Certified Business Economist ( CBE ), as appropriate to teaching responsibilities. A commitment to outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience is required. Candidates should possess a strong record of professional service and be willing to engage in departmental and university service appropriate to their rank. Preferred Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Prepare course materials and pedagogy in order to achieve course learning goals and objectives. Employ appropriate pedagogy for the nature of assigned courses. Conduct classes and deliver course material on assigned days and times. Utilize University Learning Management System ( LMS ) to deliver course information to students. Evaluate and grade student work in a timely manner. Maintain availability to students during posted hours to assist students. Respond promptly to departmental and student communications. Meet periodically with supervisors and colleagues for collaboration, training, and development. Participate in departmental efforts to assess student learning.
