As a Security Officer Part Time Medical Facility Patrol in Cleveland, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related or maintenance concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor directions, access control, and hospital policy awareness while maintaining a professional presence. Support daily operations by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and unusual conditions, and by following post orders and Allied Universal standards for the location. Minimum Requirements Vaccinations are required for this hospital assignment. This position may involve work in a hospital morgue setting. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
