LPN Charge Nurse

Sadie G. Mays Health & Rehab is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our community. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN openings with rotating or weekend requirements in a long-term care setting. The LPN Charge Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising nursing activities during the assigned shift. Key Responsibilities Administer medication accurately, observe patient response, and document appropriately in the medical record to ensure lack of negative outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients and approved parties regarding the plan of care. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Answer and refer telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication. Demonstrate a solid understanding of and compassion for human behavior and the psychological development of the aged. Assign staff to patients and oversee nursing activities during the shift. Ensure nursing operational standards are met consistently. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia. Minimum of one year experience in long-term care settings preferred. Skills Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach to patient care, especially with elderly populations.
