Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET-CT – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shifts (Days), variable start times 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM. Rotating weekend coverage and on-call requirements (evenings and weekends, 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Minimal non-billable orientation.

Highlights:

• Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Primary assignment in PET/CT with opportunity to cross-train in Nuclear Medicine
• Average patient volume: 6-7 PET-CT scans per day, 9 general nuclear medicine studies daily including cardiac, bone scans, renal, V/Q, parathyroid, and more
• State-of-the-art Siemens equipment including Symbia SPECT-CT and Biograph Horizon PET-CT systems
• Epic charting system in use; experience highly preferred
• Free parking provided

Requirements:

• Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (must be in hand prior to start)
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification current
• Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience; at least 6 months of PET experience required
• First-time travelers considered with 2+ years of experience
• Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• Must be available for post-shift call and rotating weekend coverage
• LA fire card required within 30 days prior to start
