Highly Energetic Nanny in South Huntington, New York

Busy Working Parents are looking to hire an experienced Professional Nanny to lovingly care for and engage with their 2 boys in their Suffolk County, South Huntington, New York home, taking every opportunity to teach and encourage age-appropriate developmental milestones and grow with their family. B oth work out of the house so it’s super important that the nanny is Reliable, fully present and attentive at all times.

Position: Full-Time Live-Out dedicated Nanny for 2 boys Schedule: M-Thurs, 7:30 am- 6pm, Guaranteed hours, Flexible as needed, occasional Friday, weekends, as requested. Compensation for all hours worked. Salary: $50.00 per hour + depending on experience, will consider a Health Insurance stipend if needed. Start Date: ASAP for the right fit Relocation: No – local candidates only. MUST be ALREADY LIVING local to their South Huntington, NY home Requested Duration : long term

About the Family The family values the importance of the position and values their Nanny. They have had a Nanny for the boys since birth and unfortunately she is leaving due to personal reasons. They have adored her and are looking for another exceptional trusted partner to grow with the family and stay with them for the long-term.

Parents: B oth work out of the house so it’s super important that the nanny is fully present and attentive
Mom: Works in the city 3/4 days/week.
Dad: Travels for work and sometimes works from home 1-2 times a week but other days will traveling

Children: (B) 1, The Nanny will attend baby classes with him. (B) 3. In pre-school ½ days only, about 20 minutes from home.

Approx 3/4 x's month, ideally the nanny will be open to working until 8pm so mom can focus on the bedtime routine with the little one only and without his older brother.
The family is also open to having another child in the future so someone comfortable with multiple children.

Staff: The family has a housecleaner 3 x's week and they also do the family and children's laundry
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

• Full loving and dedicated care of b oth children; prioritizing safety (including meals, nap time, diaper changes, soothing, etc.).

• Recognize and encourage age-appropriate developmental milestones 

• Interact and engage with the children through reading, playtime, visits to parks, playgrounds, etc.

• Drive to/from school/activities/extracurricular activities, as needed, (Additional reimbursement for using personal vehicle).

• Travel international/domestic as needed, (Additional compensation). The family will typically vacation in Nantucket for 1-2 weeks during the Summer and also travel Internationally.

• Light tidying as it relates to children- keeping children's playroom tidy with children assisting in cleanup.

• Serving simple meals or taking the children out for convenience lunches, all expenses covered.

Ideal Candidate & Personality

The High energy caring Nanny will thoroughly enjoy working with the children, learning both of their personalities and preferences to best support them. Someone who is genuinely warm and loving and has experience working with multiple children with high energy. Someone highly communicative. Being bilingual is a Plus! Position Requirements

• MUST be ALREADY LIVING local to the area, familiar with the area, and within a close proximity of the home on Long Island

• Years of experience working with 2 or more children in a similar role 

• References: Minimum of 2 Excellent references

• Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Driver’s license and clean driving record

• Background checks upon a contingent offer of hire
