Opportunity Overview- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Shift-based
- Location: Livonia, Michigan
- Specialty: Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery
- Hospital Information: 304 Beds, Level II Trauma Center
- Team Composition: 6 surgeons, 13 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Involvement with Residents, Medical Students, Fellows, and APPs

- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care
- Completion of ACS or SCC Fellowship required
- Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification
Your typical day may involve:
- Providing comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
- Participating in the care of trauma patients throughout the entire continuum, from initial resuscitation to rehabilitation
- Serving as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows
- Engaging in clinical research and scholarly activities
- Collaborating on a multidisciplinary trauma program focused on quality, safety, and education
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
