Position Summary:
This position is responsible for running and setting up a variety of equipment in the Tech Cell which includes Press Brake; Laser and Buffalo Rolls machine.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm but hours could vary
Essential Job Duties:
* Aligns parts or positions them against fixtures on a machine.
* Stacks, racks, wraps, counts component or finished goods for placement onto skids.
* Inspects parts according to requirements.
* Use of calipers, tape measure, measuring fixtures and gauges.
* Ability to use computer to log production documentation into Epicor software.
* Ability to set-up and program Press Brakes, CNC Milling Machines, Fiber Optic Lasers & Rolls Equipment.
* Ability to trouble shoot and make machine adjustments to assure dimensional compliance of parts.
* Maintain production rate numbers and perform machine change overs in the appropriate time.
* Familiar with working with a variety of materials including, Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum & Stainless.
Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* 3+ years manufacturing experience on Press Brakes, Lasers and CNC Milling Machines preferred.
* Computer data entry
* Able to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds overhead.
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and able to read blueprints.
