Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Emergency Room experience required, including pediatrics. License: Pending licenses accepted (must be in hand prior to start date). Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (TNCC can be pending but must be obtained before start). Must-Have: Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility. Description: This position requires cross-posting for emergency department staffing needs. Weekends and holidays are mandatory, with scheduled days varying based on staffing requirements. Candidates must have experience with pediatric patients, which does not need to be within a dedicated pediatric emergency room. Staffing ratios will vary and can change based on needs. All candidates must meet the experience requirements listed. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should have experience with an electronic health record system. All referring facility policies must be acknowledged and followed as required. Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed. Maximum time off allowed during the contract is 40 hours.
