Assistant General ManagerAssistant General Manager National Corporate Housing looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sales and operations in the office. With their leadership the office will build a strong market presence and continued customer loyalty. The selected person needs to have a professional image, strong communication and customer service skills. With 28+ offices worldwide, we're a trusted leader in customized corporate housing and 360-degree services that make transitions seamless.Responsibilities:Maintain budgeted occupancy and gross profit goals for calendar yearSupervise and oversee productivity of office team in GM's absenceInitiate organized applications to ensure better inventory/sales managementManage unit inventory to include all Notices, MTM fee assignments, discounted renewal options, NCH "special" terms, and complementary unit cleanings at time of renewal; alert GM to unit stats daily as needed.Ensure proper processing of all rental paperwork from audit of terms to OSCAR accuracy, to consolidated and accurate filing.Liaison for GM at all properties as needed to ensure site follow-throughProactive attention and contact with guests requiring special care or management support/decision making to resolve conflict quicklyMinimize all excess labor costs, product/supply waste, organize all purchases in conjunction with GM recommendations; ensure daily attention to all cost issuesInitiate Operational System goals to promote superior rental qualitySupport Sales Team efforts by onsite visits to rent negotiate/relationship buildAudit furniture & houseware billing; ensure extras are removed, ensure OSCAR billing is prompt and accurate; bring any cost variances to GM's attentionEnsure effectiveness with daily attention to unit inspections for needed enhancements, cable equipment pick up, organized guest departures and timely unit pick up's as directed by GMAttend weekly Sales Meetings and Operations MeetingsSupport all immediate GM initiativesVoice opinions and promote team morale and high energy level by exampleCoach and support all office positionsOther Duties as assignedRequirements:Must be a motivated self-starter with a drive to succeed in a Team environmentMust be well spoken with strong presentation and communication skillsHonest, hardworking, reliable, and organized individual who can multi taskBachelor's Degree is idealManagement experience is preferredMust be able to motivate, inspire and lead teams to make sales goalsExperience in relocation, property management, or real estate industry is a plusThe ability to speak a second language fluently is a plusModerate mathematical and basic computer skills are a necessityMust be able to offer & implement creative solutions in the selling process, operations, customer service and employee issuesThe employee must be able to climb stairs to inspect apartments prior to move in if neededBenefits:Competitive Base Salary + Annual Performance Based Bonus $77,000 - $87,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance options401k plan with discretionary matchCompany paid life insurance, short term disability, and long term disabilitySupplemental life insurance, critical illness, accident, and identity theft protectionOne-of-a-kind culture dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionInclusive Awards and Recognition ProgramVacation, sick, and floating holidaysPaid time offPaid volunteer timeWellness programComplimentary use of corporate apartments for vacation or travel (when available)National is a drug & alcohol-free workplace.
