Failure Analysis Engineer (Semiconductor / Electronics)

Eurofins seeks a Failure Analysis Engineer to investigate semiconductor and electronics failures using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. The role involves conducting root cause analyses, leading technical teams, and providing engineering insights to support clients across medical, automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct failure analysis investigations using advanced analytical tools and diagnostic techniques
- Design and execute analytical plans to determine root causes of product failures
- Lead teams of engineers on complex, multi-disciplinary problem-solving projects
- Provide technical consulting and result interpretation to clients with actionable recommendations
- Manage projects, job planning, and client communications regarding analysis scope and expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Hands-on failure analysis laboratory experience in semiconductor and electronics industries
- Expertise in root cause failure analysis and fault isolation techniques (OBIRCH, XIVA, emmi, IR Thermography)
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment (ATE, curve trace, parametric analyzer, oscilloscopes, CV measurement)
- Experience with SEM/EDS, microprobing, and X-ray analysis
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
- Technical leadership, mentoring, or management experience highly desired
