Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher on a 36-week contract in North Las Vegas, Nevada, delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse needs. The role involves implementing IEPs, collaborating with school staff and families, and maintaining accurate documentation to support inclusive learning. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse needs in a school setting

• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• 1 year minimum experience in special education

• 1 year minimum experience in educational settings, preferably with special education students

• Valid Special Education certification

• Valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times

• Valid professional certifications

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a school environment

• Background check required
