Working closely with the enrolled nurses and the collaborative healthcare team including the regional managers, the registered nurse will provide person-centred care to support the older persons. About you To be considered for this rewarding role you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a team. To be successful you must: strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of employees exceptional time management skills and attention to detail be able to follow policies and procedures at all times sensitive and adaptable to older persons different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances and most importantly a positive attitude! You will also need: APHRA registration to practice as a registered nurse in Australia previous experience working in an aged care residential facility (highly desirable) previous experience working in remote areas (desirable) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver licence current flu vaccination (recommended) first aid and CPR (or the ability to obtain) About the offer This is a remote position in the Lower Gulf on a 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotating roster. This role provides significant overtime opportunities; on average our registered nurses annual remuneration is around $190k plus super.
