Entity : The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge Reports To : Retail Coordinator Pay Range : $10-$14/hr Anticipated Start Date : Immediate End Date : August/November Position Summary As a member of The Ripken Experience Retail team you will be required to assist with the operation of our on‑site merchandise store. The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge is a state‑of‑the‑art sports complex located in Pigeon Forge, TN. Ripken Baseball specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big League Experiences. This is a seasonal role. Key Responsibilities Efficiently process sales transactions using a POS system. Maintain a high level of customer service, assisting customers both on and off the sales floor. Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise on the sales floor. Maintain a clean, sanitary environment within the retail shop. Assist our Food and Beverage Manager, Facilities Manager, and Operations Staff as needed. Work with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently while providing a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience for tournament participants. Absorb training and demonstrate the initiative, desire, and drive to help uphold the values established by the Ripken name and brand. Qualifications Minimum 1–3 years working experience required. Outgoing and friendly personality, strong initiative, and high‑energy. Strong detail‑orientation, with ability to problem‑solve. Ability to multi‑task, efficient time‑management skills. Ability to work during the day or evening as determined by supervisor. Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills. Ability to work in a team environment with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Reliable transportation. Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements Routinely required to work extended hours of time including weekdays/nights, and weekends. Stand for long periods of time. Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather conditions, dust and particles, and loud noises.
