Work Environment

The work setting for this position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges faced by clients, ensuring that therapeutic plans are individualized and effective.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Maintain meticulous records that adhere to HIPAA standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for all clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to create a holistic treatment ecosystem for clients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance therapeutic outcomes while also sharing insights and strategies with team members.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them in their mental health journeys.
• Stay current on advancements in mental health research, contributing to continuous professional development and enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, primarily focused on individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will support clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and circumstances. Your interventions will aim to foster resilience and personal growth, contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.
• Solid understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, critical for building rapport and trust with clients.
• Adept at fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and multidisciplinary team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to address complex client issues effectively.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have demonstrated experience working in a therapy setting focused on trauma, anxiety, and depression. Experience using telehealth platforms for therapy delivery and knowledge of innovative digital tools that enhance patient engagement are advantageous. Additionally, any prior involvement in community mental health initiatives will be viewed favorably.
