Job Description
As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Peoria IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and this role you will reflect our agile reliable and innovative values while working with integrity and teamwork in a people-first culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouses parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of personnel visitors and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by observing for potential hazards equipment issues and/or policy violations then notifying the appropriate personnel for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
