Union Pizza & Smash – Pizza / Fry Cook
Union Pizza & Smash is hiring Pizza / Fry Cooks to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on position working primarily at our pizza and fryer stations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities- Stretch dough, sauce, top, and build pizzas according to recipes
- Cook and finish pizzas while maintaining quality and consistency
- Operate the fryer and prepare fried appetizers, chicken, fries, and other menu items
- Prepare garlic knots and assist with other kitchen items as needed
- Keep pizza and fryer stations stocked, clean, and organized
- Follow recipes, portioning, and food prep standards
- Complete daily prep and restocking
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate and work together with the kitchen and FOH teams during busy service
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work quickly while maintaining quality
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Able to stay organized during busy shifts
- Pizza, fryer, or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and p
