Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment. They will operate ultrasound equipment and ensure quality imaging while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in various clinical settings.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret preliminary findings and communicate results to physicians.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols during procedures.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in EPIC.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS certification in at least two specialties.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate general and vascular ultrasound experience.
• Have experience working with inpatients, outpatients, ED patients, and NICU cases.
• Exhibit proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
