Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ER)
Location: Wenatchee, Washington
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Shift: Day/Evening (11:00 AM–11:00 PM or 3:00 PM–3:00 AM)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Wenatchee, WA. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, adaptable nurse with strong emergency care experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Assess, monitor, and reassess patients using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff while ensuring quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives.
• Float to other units as needed, including sitter assignments.

Requirements

• Active Washington State RN License or Compact RN License
• Current BLS (AHA) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Current TNCC Certification
• Recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs and float as required
