Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs to formulate personalized intervention strategies that align with their specific goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, Speech Therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic practices that promote sustained progress at home.
- Monitor Progress: Evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans when necessary, ensuring patients stay on track to recover.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and well supported.
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
