Direct Sales Representative - Implantable Cardiac Monitoring - New Jersey

Abbott seeks a Medical Sales Representative for its Insertable Cardiac Monitor division based in New Jersey. The role involves promoting and selling cardiac monitoring devices to healthcare providers, building customer relationships, and executing territory-based sales plans within the Cardiac Rhythm Management business.

Responsibilities

• Contact, visit, and educate physicians, hospitals, and distributors on ICM device features and benefits
• Develop and execute business plans to identify and grow new accounts within assigned territory
• Provide training and technical support to medical professionals on product use and troubleshooting
• Manage territory inventory and compile sales reports, competitive intelligence, and administrative documentation
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships while driving new business growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years documented medical device sales success in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, or outpatient labs
• 4+ years B2B sales experience (alternative to medical device background)
• Ability to analyze complex medical devices and present technical information persuasively
• Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills with healthcare stakeholders
• Knowledge of medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures
• Preferred: understanding of cardiac rhythm management technology

Compensation: $43,900–$109,200 base
