We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful  Senior Property Accountant (on-site/remote)  who embodies 2B Living’s core values. The ideal candidate will have a  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance  and a  minimum of three years of experience in accounting . You should also be able to demonstrate an  in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), real estate accounting principles, and the ability to analyze financial statements . In addition, the  Senior Property Accountant  must be highly organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Responsibilities:

• Review financial statements, reports, and other documents, including balance sheets, ledgers, and income statements, in accordance with GAAP and real estate accounting principles.
• Analyze financial statements, identify discrepancies, and investigate any irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Troubleshoot and finalize monthly bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for accurate cash management, including approving A/P and requesting contributions when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets.
• Review the General Ledger to ensure proper coding of all transactions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
• Provide support to internal and external auditors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA, Master’s in Accounting/Finance, and/or CPA preferred
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles.
• AppFolio experience preferred.
• Accrual-based institutional financial reporting experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $105K - $135K annually (exempt position), commensurate with experience.
• Eligible for annual performance bonuses.
