About the Position

The nurse will work 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts with a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Every other weekend is required. Floating within the scope of practice may be necessary to meet facility needs. Candidates will be accepted even if they are first-time travelers. A South Carolina nursing license or a compact nursing license must be in hand prior to starting. Key certifications required include BLS and ACLS, with NIH certification preferred. Experience in telehealth and managing telemetry patients is essential. The role includes administering medications, managing IV lines, and conducting patient assessments. Nurses must display competency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing dysrhythmias. The ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively is critical. Candidates should be comfortable working in a community hospital environment. The facility will prioritize non-local candidates for this position. During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams if necessary. It is important for candidates to ensure compliance with all required documentation and procedures prior to the start date.
