Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8/10/12-hour shifts; occasional weekends
Reason for Coverage: Vacancies and leave of absence coverage
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel: Mileage reimbursed; Malpractice: Covered

Case Mix: General surgical cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: Level III
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff Available: RNs, Surgical Techs

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
Licenses: Active Michigan RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience: Epic EMR experience preferred; clean malpractice/license history required; local provider required
Other Qualifications: Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required

Duties & Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases in adult and geriatric patients
Monitor patients during surgical procedures
Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and surgical team
Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols
Document care in Epic EMR
