This position is part of a small team and reports directly to the Medical Practice Manager. The role involves multitasking across administrative duties such as patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification, while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. No travel is required for this role, which also offers growth opportunities through cross-training in clinical support functions.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and maintain accurate records
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
• Manage front desk operations and handle telephone communications
• Verify patient insurance and assist with billing processes
• Support billing and medical records management
• Deliver high-quality customer service and office coordination
• Perform data entry with attention to HIPAA compliance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical office administration
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and customer service
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Experience with data entry and maintaining HIPAA compliance
