Job Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology Laborist

Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity (approximately seven 24-hour shifts monthly) or part-time position (around four 24-hour shifts monthly) for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Laborist. This role is available at our expanding Laborist practice located at a medical center in Mishawaka, Indiana.

This mission-driven organization features an award-winning and nurturing birthing center equipped with a Level III NICU. The facility handles a significant number of deliveries each month, boasting eight labor rooms, four antepartum rooms, and 15-20 postpartum rooms. Laborists can anticipate managing 20-25 deliveries monthly, which may include C-sections.

Our medical center offers an in-house laboratory and ultrasound services, along with 24-hour dedicated OB anesthesia and Maternal Fetal Medicine available five days a week. It is important to note that Laborists are not required to cover Gyn ED calls.

The scheduling for this position is adaptable, providing options for 12- or 24-hour shifts, which promotes a healthy work-life balance in the beautiful region of North Central Indiana.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Two to three years of experience required (five years preferred)
• Spanish language skills are advantageous
