Apartment Maintenance SupervisorThe REMM Group is currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and support our beautiful community located in Cypress, CA. The Multifamily Maintenance Supervisor oversees the asset's overall condition and repairs. This position includes managing the day-to-day operations of a property, including repairs, make-ready processes, capital projects, and preventative maintenance. Assist with minor construction projects and renovations.Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally, diagnosing and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs, and document repairs made in Yardi Voyager software.Perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they occur.Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, adhering to all safety protocols.Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency problems if needed.Communicate with the business manager to ensure work is complete and costs are in line with the budget.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain necessary parts and materials.Communicate with excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with residents and staff.Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency issues, including being on-call after hours.Strategically plan how to turn units with your team.Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies.Keeps storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.Qualifications and experience:Minimum of four (4) years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.Previous supervisory experience is required.High school diploma and some college/trade school preferred.Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to take initiative, working with a minimum amount of supervision.Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate an on-call schedule.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with Yardi property management software (a plus).High sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.Candidate must be able to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.A little more about The REMM Group, AMO:The REMM Group is the highest-ranked property management company in California by Best Places to Work Multifamily® and eighth in the nation.
