The Mitigation Leader has a drive to lead. Our team's professional approach ensures both the property and the customer are attended to, while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and property preservation. Responsibilities Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold Recruit and coach technicians both in the field and in the warehouse Survey damage within the property Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property Manage cleaning process for both contents and structural damage Demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools Clean up assigned job sites after demolition Perform initial site visits Conduct moisture inspections Set restoration equipment within guidelines Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS) Contact the customer of assigned jobs with ETA Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop Responsible for unloading trash in assigned area Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assigned Pass IICRC certifications as IICRC classes are offered Assist in the development of new hires through on the job training All other duties as assigned Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad) Customer Service Skills Communication skills via phone and face to face Computer skills Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, MICA and additional systems as requested Ability to create documents and estimates Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face Ability to work independently Ability to lead a team of Technicians Ability to complete work on multiple jobs within the same time frame Ability to participate in an on call schedule Ability to work within hazardous environments safely Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Ability to operate a company vehicle safely Ability to represent the company culture through our Truth, Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving Basics Maintain a level of confidentiality Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Customer Service experience 1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling Physical Requirement Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
