Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a " Bartender" for the Gold 'N Silver Inn . The Gold 'N Silver is Reno's oldest casual dining restaurant and has been a Reno landmark for over 60 years. The property has gone under a restoration and renovation that includes a neighborhood bar and updated dining room that will be a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards
• Engage guests and build repeat business through hospitality
• Maintain bar inventory, cleanliness, and preparation levels
• Monitor guest intoxication and intervene as required
• Support servers with beverage orders
• Beverage quality and consistency
• Cost awareness and waste control
• Guest engagement and compliance adherence
• Bar-level food and alcohol safety
• Authority to refuse service according to policy
• Beverage sanitation and safe ice handling
• Glassware cleanliness and storage standards
• Responsible alcohol service and intoxication management
• Prevention of allergen cross-contact in beverages

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Beverage knowledge and bar service experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (required)
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
• Allergen Awareness Training
• Nevada Gaming Registration
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
