About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Support Aide Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty preferred. License: License in hand preferred; required to apply for Minnesota license if not held. Certifications: Required certifications must be provided. Must-Have: - Case Cart experience. Description: Staff will be dedicated to instrument picking for surgical and procedural cases. Candidates must have experience in case cart management. Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty. Candidates should expect possible floating within the hospital or to an affiliate. Epic or equivalent charting experience may be required for some positions. Additional compliance requirements, including background checks, will apply. Complications with fingerprinting results may delay start dates. Awareness of the need for references is essential during the application process. Travelers must be aware that no references will be provided post-assignment. Candidates should communicate any planned vacations prior to start dates.
