ER Registered Nurse

Emerus Nurse Position
The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.
The job is full-time, working nights (7pm-7am) in a 16 bed small-format hospital (8 ER, 8 inpatient). Emerus is the leader in small-format hospitals, partnering with respected health systems to provide care in neighborhoods by trusted teams.
Essential job functions include planning and providing age-specific nursing care, completing accurate medical records, observing and recording patient status, following physician's orders, collecting lab samples, adhering to infection control procedures, and performing admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
Other job functions include performing quality assessment activities, attending staff meetings, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Basic qualifications include an associate's degree or BSN, current state licensure as a registered nurse, 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, fluency in English, and Pennsylvania candidates must complete Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within the last 5 years.
