Inventory Control Manager

We're an established eCommerce fulfilment company opening a brand-new automated centre — and we need an Inventory Control Manager to own inventory strategy from the very first day. You’ll set the site routines, build WMS accuracy into the foundations, and lead the root‑cause thinking that keeps stock integrity solid as volume ramps up. You’ll partner closely with Tech and Finance to make sure the controls you build actually scale. Cycle‑counting and physical inventory routines fall under your direction - keeping the site audit‑ready at all times. When discrepancies come up, you’ll dig into the root cause and manage the controls around high value stock, where the margin for error is basically zero. Every audit trail and piece of documentation you maintain support regulatory and client compliance. You’ll develop and implement the core Inventory Control processes and procedures, owning the WMS data integrity so the system reflects what’s actually happening on the ground. Client onboarding and offboarding reconciliations sit with you too, giving clients confidence in the numbers from their very first day with us. And when operational errors do happen, you’re the one turning them into corrective action plans - and real process improvements. As the primary escalation point for data driven stakeholder responses, you’ll be the person people come to when they need a straight answer backed by evidence. That same instinct feeds into your ownership of inventory KPI reporting for leadership and clients, turning raw data into insight that actually drives decisions. Who are we looking for?
