Medical Assistant – NEMG (Greenwich, CT)

Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Greenwich team. In this role, you will support providers and patients by assisting with clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Administer injections, vaccines, and perform other clinical tasks as permitted
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Diploma
• EPIC EMR

Work Environment:

This role is based in a pediatric office environment that is fast-paced, patient-centered, and highly collaborative. The position involves frequent interaction with children, families, and healthcare professionals, primarily at the front desk and over the phone. Weekend work is part of the regular schedule, and additional hours may be required as needed to support patient care and office operations. The office typically requires professional, neat attire appropriate for a healthcare setting, with an emphasis on maintaining a welcoming and calm atmosphere for patients and families.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
