Inventory Control Supervisor

The position of Inventory Control Supervisor is located in Elizabethtown, KY. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the organization and oversight of the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items produced and received in order to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES§ Develops strategies to enhance warehouse inventory efficiency through layout planning and product handling systems.§ Monitors order completion metrics, picking times, and cycles.§ Utilizes RF Smart system or similar tools for process optimization and reporting.§ Collaborates with various departments and management to improve warehousing and shipping processes.§ Plans for seasonal variations and daily operations to maximize employee capacity.§ Coordinates with other locations for efficient transfer of items between warehouses.§ Works with Logistics Director to optimize space and efficiency.§ Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement within the team.§ Leads and trains team to provide exceptional customer service while managing costs.§ Ensures proper equipment and racking for safe material transport and storage.§ Promotes safety training and compliance among all personnel.§ Demonstrates ability to handle stress and maintain positive relationships with customers.§ Demonstrates strong decision-making and analytical skills.QUALIFICATIONS§ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred.§ 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or distribution environment required.§ Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.§ Experience with load/freight management and knowledge of supply chain practices.§ Strong leadership and relationship building skills.§ Excellent communication skills.§ Flexible and adaptable to change.§ Strong problem-solving skills.§ Exceptional organization and time-management abilities.§ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer programs.
