IT Support Specialist

TEKsystems is hiring several Technical Support Specialists to join a local client for an exciting seasonal IT support opportunity! If you enjoy technology, troubleshooting, and helping people solve problems, this could be a great opportunity to strengthen your technical skills while gaining valuable hands-on support experience. As a Technical Support Specialist, youll work directly with customers to troubleshoot software issues, assist with installations and data imports, and provide an excellent support experience across phone, email, chat, and ticketing channels. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, live chat, and support tickets. Assist with software installations, account setup, login issues, and product navigation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and software-related issues remotely. Guide customers through importing company data and resolving data import errors. Research system errors and escalated more complex issues when necessary. Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly and accurately. Manage and update support tickets in Salesforce, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution. Deliver patient, professional, and customer-focused support throughout every interaction. Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills. Education, coursework, or certifications in Information Technology. Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues with end users over the phone. Previous help desk, service desk, or technical support experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and documentation skills. Salesforce experience is helpful but not required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Green Bay, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
