Adjunct Communications Professor - School of Arts and Communication

The School of Arts & Communication is seeking to fill multiple part-time positions with adjuncts that have the skills set to teach Communication courses in our program. Florida Institute of Technology invites applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the School of Arts and Communications. We are looking for adjunct faculty in the following disciplines for the 2025 - 2026 semesters and beyond. Positions are located in Melbourne, Florida: English, with an emphasis on composition and rhetoric, writing about literature, and Basic English writing. Communication, with an emphasis on science and technical communication, business and professional communication, and speech. Humanities, with an emphasis on history, literature, art history and philosophy. Specialists in African American Studies will also be considered. Duties Teach undergraduate sections in their area of expertise. Qualifications A minimum of a Masters of Arts degree in subject area or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level in a classroom setting; Eighteen (18) hours of coursework in field of teaching.
