This position combines advanced installation work with field leadership, giving you the opportunity to guide other installers while maintaining high standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.If you're an experienced installer who can take ownership of a project from start to finish and help develop the people working alongside you, we'd like to hear from you.CompensationUp to $38.00 per hour, based on experience, technical ability, and leadership backgroundQualified candidates may also be eligible for an up to $10,000 sign-on bonus.*What You'll Be Responsible ForTake the lead on residential and light commercial HVAC installation projectsInstall furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipmentCoordinate daily activities for installers and helpers assigned to each projectReview job requirements and ensure equipment and materials are ready before work beginsInstall and properly size refrigeration piping and gas pipingComplete ductwork modifications, fabrication, and installationHandle equipment changeouts and new system installationsAssist with low-voltage wiring and HVAC controlsPerform system start-ups and verify proper equipment operationIdentify and resolve installation problems in the fieldEnsure projects meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable codesMaintain safe, clean, and professional jobsitesTrain and mentor developing installers and apprenticesMonitor workmanship and provide direction when corrections are neededCommunicate professionally with homeowners and other customersHelp ensure projects are completed accurately and on scheduleExperience & Qualifications5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience2+ years of experience leading or supervising installation personnelStrong residential and light commercial installation knowledgeProficiency with refrigeration piping and gas pipingExperience with ductwork design, fabrication, modification, and installationAbility to lead projects and provide technical direction to other installersStrong understanding of HVAC installation safety practicesGeneral knowledge of low-voltage HVAC electrical systemsEPA Certification requiredWillingness to obtain and maintain applicable installer-based NATE certificationsHVAC technical school education preferredStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to work independently while also directing a crewPositive, dependable, and professional approach to customers and coworkersScheduleMonday -Friday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PMEvening and weekend availability may occasionally be required based on workload and customer needs.
