Industrial Plumber

Shift 1 Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. About Us Silent‑Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is a global leader in owner equipment manufacturing (OEM) dedicated to providing custom solutions for data center customers. Our product line includes large‑scale equipment such as air handling units and modular data centers. Responsibilities Assist electricians, welders, and assemblers as needed for projects. Problem‑solve and maintain a working knowledge of technology, compliance, and repair techniques. Brazing and soldering copper pipe ½” – 4”. Work with PVC pipe and use power tools. Read blueprints and follow SOPs. Perform other assigned shop work. Adhere to safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel‑toed boots. Work in a busy shop environment, managing time effectively and safely. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial plumber with strong understanding of industrial plumbing systems. Ability to work shift work, in small spaces, and independently in a busy environment. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication (verbal and written), and ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail and professional demeanor in all interactions. Completion of college, vocational, or technical training preferred. Appropriate credentials and certifications.
