Pharmacy TechnicianOpportunities exist for part-time and full-time candidates to join our family-owned organization! This role requires experience in the Long-Term Care Pharmacy technician field.A Pharmacy Technician takes prescriptions and prepares medication for patients at the pharmacy, long term care facilities: their other duties include:Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptionsCalculating the price of prescriptionsReviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance with the guidelines of the General Pharmaceutical CouncilStocking the pharmacy with inventoryProviding instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicineSupporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacyProtecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policiesDisbursing completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients and facilitiesAnswering incoming calls and fielding patient/facility questionsMaintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules and proceduresFull-Time Benefits Offered!Paid Weekly!Pleasant Work Environment!
