Supply Chain Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager provides leadership and oversight for the Supply Chain Department, including procurement, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and material readiness. This role ensures materials and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively to support company operations and project execution while developing high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership

• Lead and manage all Supply Chain operations, including Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics.
• Establish department priorities, goals, and operating standards aligned with company objectives.
• Manage staffing, workload planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Oversee purchasing activities, supplier relationships, contract compliance, and procurement processes.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Resolve supplier performance, pricing, availability, and delivery issues.
• Maintain purchasing controls and compliance with company policies.

Warehouse & Logistics

• Provide oversight of warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, shipping, and material handling.
• Ensure materials are accurately tracked, protected, and available to support project schedules.
• Oversee logistics planning, freight coordination, and transportation activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material control and reconciliation efforts.

Project & Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Field Services to ensure material readiness.
• Communicate supply chain status, risks, and material availability to project stakeholders.
• Resolve supply chain issues that may impact project cost, schedule, or execution.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Supply Chain personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
• Develop and improve supply chain processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, cost control, and customer service.
  

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, or construction/project support.
• Previous leadership or management experience overseeing supply chain teams.
• Experience supporting project-based operations and cross-functional teams.
  

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and supplier management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, and Microsost Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
  

Working Conditions

• Primarily office-based with regular interaction in warehouse, yard, vendor, and project environments.
• Occasional travel to project sites or vendor locations may be required.
• Must maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to company safety standards.
