Litigation Legal Assistant (Seattle)

Litigation Legal Assistant Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 DOE Schedule : Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

LHH is working with well-established litigation firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy defense litigation practice. This role is ideal for a candidate who can step into an active desk, manage a high-volume workload, and contribute with minimal training. The desk will cover matters in Medical Professional Liability, Employment Litigation, Personal Injury Defense and Professional Liability Defense.

Responsibilities

Draft, proofread, edit, and redline pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents

Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, and case schedules

Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings

Prepare and electronically file documents in Washington state and federal courts

Assist with discovery, service of process, and case management

Open and maintain client matters and organize case files

Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

Provide proactive support in a fast-paced litigation environment

Qualifications

5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience preferred

Strong understanding of Washington state and federal court filing procedures

Thorough knowledge of litigation deadlines, local court rules, and case management processes

Experience supporting busy litigators with minimal supervision

Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills

Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently

Experience with legal document management systems is a plus
