Vascular Technologist

The Vascular Technologist performs comprehensive vascular exams using ultrasound and other testing modalities. Key responsibilities include conducting routine and complex vascular ultrasound procedures based on physician orders and protocols reviewing patient data for accuracy and documenting findings thoroughly ensuring high-quality imaging by critiquing positioning and technical factors rotating to off-site mobile locations to serve diverse patient populations properly cleaning equipment and rooms between patients communicating effectively with physicians regarding patient history and exam results cross-training in other divisions of cardiovascular services and rotating during holidays, nights, and weekends Qualifications include certifications such as BLS, RVS, and RVT-VT an Associate's Degree in Sonography work experience demonstrating technical proficiency Skills required encompass technical expertise in ultrasound imaging, attention to detail, effective communication, and adaptability to different testing environments.
