HOME INFUSION Pharmacist

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Home Infusion Pharmacist in Apex, NC 27502. The Clinical Pharmacist would be working for a home infusion pharmacy organization and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week. Home Infusion Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Home Infusion Pharmacist Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday with rotating shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM) with required evening and weekend on-call coverage. Overtime is available as needed MUST HAVE HOME INFUSION EXPERIENCE Home Infusion Pharmacist Responsibilities Manage home infusion therapies through clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational workflow support using CPR+ Review referrals for appropriateness including drug, dose, route, and required lab monitoring Process new patient starts and prescription refills Perform medication reconciliation and patient counseling Monitor lab-dependent therapies and coordinate care adjustments with providers and nursing staff Accurately enter prescriptions, complete documentation, and support claim adjudication processes Prepare, verify, and dispense sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP standards Ensure proper labeling, lot tracking, and documentation accuracy for all compounded products Supervise pharmacy technicians and support production workflows Support medication production, packaging, and delivery operations in a fast-paced environment Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure timely dispensing and delivery of medications Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care Home Infusion Pharmacist Requirements Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the state pharmacy board Minimum of home infusion pharmacy experience required Experience with sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy workflows Ability to work rotating shifts and participate in evening/weekend on-call coverage Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Home Infusion Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications Experience using CPR+ pharmacy system Background in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or hospital-based infusion services Strong knowledge of USP compounding standards and regulatory compliance If you think this Clinical Pharmacist position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
